Why choose crepe-paper flowers for our wedding?

Crepe-paper flowers offer a unique way to create bespoke wedding floral installations, combining the beauty of botanical forms with the freedom to explore scale, colour and sculptural detail. Each flower is handcrafted to reflect your wedding palette, floral preferences and overall aesthetic, creating a distinctive and personal floral statement for your celebration. Your flowers can be designed specifically around your wedding palette and floral preferences, without being limited by season, availability or the natural size of a flower. Each installation is handcrafted to create a memorable visual statement that is entirely personal to your celebration.

What happens to my bespoke floral installation after the wedding?

Each wedding installation is individually designed and handcrafted for your celebration by The Paper Petal Studio. Following the wedding, the floral artwork becomes part of the The Paper Petal Studio collection and may be available as part of future celebrations/displays and editorial work. 

Can we use the flowers for both our ceremony and reception?

Yes. Where your ceremony and reception are at the same venue, we can relocate your floral installation between spaces, so you can enjoy it throughout your wedding day. One planned ceremony-to-reception relocation is included within our wedding packages.

Can you match our wedding colours?

Absolutely. Colour is a very important part of our design process at The Paper Petal Studio. We love to work from your wedding colour palette, fabrics, mood boards or any other visual references to bring your floral vision to life.

We use a wide range of premium crepe-paper colours and can carefully combine shades to create depth, contrast and tonal variation within your installation. You can see the full range of Italian crepe-paper colours that we work with here. 

Can the flowers be placed outdoors?

Our crepe-paper floral installations are designed for indoor use only, due to the delicate nature of the materials. 

Can you create other florals to complement our main installation?

Absolutely. Your wedding floral design can be extended beyond the statement installation to create a cohesive floral story throughout your celebration. We can develop additional crepe-paper pieces using the same colours, flower forms and botanical details as your main installation from bouquets, posies to table flowers and welcome sign garlands.

How far in advance should we book?

As each floral installation is individually designed, colour-developed and handcrafted, we recommend booking 6–8 months in advance, particularly for peak wedding dates. We take on a limited number of weddings each year alongside our commercial, editorial and creative projects, allowing us to give each couple the time and attention their bespoke floral design deserves.

How sustainable are your crepe-paper wedding flowers?

Sustainability is at the heart of how we design and create our floral installations. We use premium Italian crepe-paper, (FSC-certified) and design our floral work to be reusable rather than single-use décor. Following a wedding, many of our installations can become part of the The Paper Petal  collection and be used again for future celebrations, displays, editorial projects and creative installations. We also design our floral structures to be modular, allowing individual blooms and elements to be reconfigured and reused across different installations.

Can you create flowers inspired by our florist's wedding flowers?

Yes, they can be designed to complement your fresh floral arrangements, incorporating similar flower forms, colours and botanical details to create a cohesive visual story across your wedding.

Can I hire the flowers for longer than 24 hours?

Absolutely. Our standard rental period is 24 hours, however extended rental periods can be arranged for weekend celebrations and multi-day events. Additional rental charges may apply depending on the duration and logistics involved. Please mention your preferred rental period when submitting your enquiry and we will provide you with a tailored quotation.
